A veteran soldier from Macha carrying the weight of his bloodline's shame and a century and a half of unanswered questions. A curious wanderer from Harth-Hull stepping outside the walls of his floating sphere city for the first time and finding a world larger and stranger than anything he imagined. A blacksmith from Doma who reveres weapons the way other people revere gods and has followed the legend of an impossible blade to the one city in the world where answers might exist.
