Episode 1

What Happened: The players arrived in Harth-Hull separately during the 10th Anniversary Festival of the Lowering. Heremes spoke to KeiVon at the fruit stand. Lutrosis bumped into Sable after buying a mango — she grabbed his hand and started showing him around, revealing herself as an old friend of Heremes. Ognir was at a weapon stall, scoffing at the merchandise and negotiating the vendor down to 30 zenit per piece.

All three gathered to watch Elder Corvus Mael take the main stage. He gave a warm public speech about how much things had changed — hinting at something weighing on him with the line "I'm older than people guess" — before being ushered off stage by a robed figure. As he left he collapsed.

Sable dragged Lutrosis to the front pushing through the guards — revealing she was Corvus's granddaughter. Heremes ran to join her. Ognir walked up oblivious to the commotion and started inspecting Lutrosis's armor. Then someone yelled "Stop that kid!" and Pell ran by.

Lutrosis and Ognir gave chase. Ognir used a Fabula Point to catch up. Lutrosis used a Fabula Point to roll over a cart and hit Pell in the leg. Ognir slammed his axe next to Pell's head. Heremes healed Corvus with a quickly crafted potion — saving his life — then ran to join the others.

All three caught Pell together. Heremes recognized him as a familiar street presence. Pell handed over a letter claiming it was just lying there and ran off. The letter bore an old royal Polemas crest matching the crest Lutrosis carries.
